A great way to do your shopping and to find out about new delicious things! Our local farmers markets have a lot to offer: high quality produce, dairy, meat, fish, bread, baked goods, honey, and other treats, of course—as well as food pop-ups, live music, book signings, and other special events.

Millerton Farmers’ Market
6 Dutchess Avenue, Millerton

Year-round! The Millerton Farmers’ Market, managed by the North East Community Center, offers local produce, pasture-raised meat, fruit, cheese, baked goods, and prepared foods. All vendors are local and use sustainable and ethical growing practices.

Millbrook Farmers’ Market
3263 Franklin Avenue, Millbrook

Operating for 30+ years, the Millbrook Farmers’ Market offers local produce, bread, dairy, meat, honey, maple syrup, furniture, home goods, and more. The market co-op table offers a selection of products from small-scale vendors (farms/businesses that do not have the time/manpower/enough product to warrant a full booth).

Bear Creek Farm Farmers Market
108 Hunns Lake Road, Bangall


Bear Creek Farm Farmers Market is new this year! Vendors include Letterbox Farm, Simply Sweet Farm, Balthazar Bakery, Herbs of Elysium, Bread Alone Bakery, Ugly Donut Co., Rural Center Refillery, Millbrook Beer & Dairy, Foliage Botanics, Cooper’s Daughter, Heeler Farms, and more. They’ve been hosting other special events and food pop-ups as well.

Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market
61 East Market Street, Rhinebeck

Founded in 1994, the Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market offers local produce, cheese, meat, fish, bread, foie gras, dumplings, pickles, grains and flours, cut flowers, furniture, home goods, and more. There are often special events at the market throughout the season—book signings, live music, cooking demonstrations, etc.

Copake Hillsdale Farmers’ Market
9140 Route 22, Hillsdale

The Copake Hillsdale Farmers’ Market is a market held under a covered barn in Roeliff Jansen Park, designed to showcase the products of local farmers and to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable farming. The Copake and Hillsdale markets operated independently until 2014, when they merged and relocated to the Harvest Barn. The market offers activities for children through a partnership with the Roeliff Jansen Community Library, and master gardeners often stop by to answer questions and give advice.

Germantown Farmers Market

The Germantown Farmers Market was founded in 2019 by a group of farmers looking to provide their community with locally grown food, flowers and handcrafted items for the home. Germantown Farmers Market aims to create a family-friendly, community environment with picnic areas, food trucks and musicians at the market. The market is located at the Palatine Park Pavilion next to a stunning lake, Catskill Mountain views, and surrounded by walking trails, a playground and ball fields. Walking distance to local shops, library and restaurants in Germantown.

This year the Hudson Farmers’ Market has 30+ regular vendors, a rotating list of guest vendors, live music, and food/drinks each week. You will be able to find a generous selection of fresh produce, baked goods, meat, eggs, dairy products, fish, flowers, spirits (wine, cider, and liquor), prepared foods, and more.

Poughkeepsie Waterfront Farmers’ Market
75 North Water Street, Poughkeepsie

The Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market is open to the public and features farm fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, poultry, baked goods, maple products and more. The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum opened the Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market in summer 2017 to connect City residents and families with fresh, affordable and locally-produced food. In doing so, it became the first children’s museum in the country to open and operate a public farmers market as a strategy for fighting urban food insecurity and advancing community health.

The Saugerties Farmers Market was established in 2001 by a group of Saugerties residents to bring fresh food from local farms to market. The Saugerties Farmers Market provides the best of Hudson Valley produce, and other farm and locally made products. They regularly have 20+ vendors.
