Millbrook Farmers’ Market

Closed for the winter. Operating for 30+ years, the Millbrook Farmers’ Market offers local produce, bread, dairy, meat, honey, maple syrup, furniture, home goods, and more. The market co-op table offers a selection of products from small-scale vendors (farms/businesses that do not have the time/manpower/enough product to warrant a full booth).

Stanfordville does not have a farmers’ market at the moment—but someone told us that it has only recently become possible by town code to have a market, so maybe it won’t be too long.

Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market
61 East Market Street, Rhinebeck

Closing for the winter on December 17! Founded in 1994, the Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market offers local produce, cheese, meat, fish, bread, foie gras, dumplings, pickles, grains and flours, cut flowers, furniture, home goods, and more. There are often special events at the market throughout the season—book signings, live music, cooking demonstrations, etc.

Copake Hillsdale Farmers’ Market
9140 Route 22, Hillsdale

Closed for the winter. The Copake Hillsdale Farmers’ Market is a market held under a covered barn in Roeliff Jansen Park, designed to showcase the products of local farmers and to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable farming. The Copake and Hillsdale markets operated independently until 2014, when they merged and relocated to the Harvest Barn. The market offers activities for children through a partnership with the Roeliff Jansen Community Library, and master gardeners often stop by to answer questions and give advice.
